Woodring Family-San Antonio Family Photographer
Last month, I had the privilege of participating in a photo session giveaway to a deserving family. Another local photographer, Kristen Johnson, ran a campaign and received so many amazing entries. She was kind enough to share them and honor as many families as photographers were willing to take on!
The Woodring family was nominated because they have such big hearts. While they look like a totally typical family (and really they are!) you might be surprised to know that their family has grown through adoption. If you know anything about adoption or a family who has chosen to grow by this means, you know it’s not easy, not inexpensive, and comes with unique challenges.
Adoption is something that has always been on Danny and my heart, so as soon as I heard their story, I knew they were the family for me! I cannot wait to meet with Jaime (mom) and hear more about it and learn from her experience. Once our littlest is a bit older it’s a route we are feeling led to follow. What greater way to honor God than taking one of his children in and providing a loving home for them? All children deserve that.
This location is quickly becoming a favorite to shoot at. The light is beautiful, the white columns are so gorgeous for portraits, and there is plenty of room for kids to play while we take photos of just mom and dad.
I am so grateful to have been able to work with the Woodring family. Thank you, Kristen, for sharing these deserving families with us! They are such a beautiful family!
