Becca and Peter celebrated their engagement with a Trinity University Summer engagement session, followed by some gorgeous portraits at The Witte Museum! I absolutely loved working with Becca and Peter and having a tour of Trinity University where their love story began! It’s a gorgeous campus in the heart of San Antonio, and the outfits they chose (especially Becca’s burnt orange skirt) fit perfectly with the scenery. Trinity University boasts gardens, water features and beautiful oak trees. My favorite spot was a real life secret garden. Complete with a heavy door and inconspicuous exterior. I love when couples show me their favorite spots in the city and trust me to create gorgeous images for them!
Side note-I still can’t decide if Becca’s smile or Peter’s smile when he looks at Becca smiling is my fav-thoughts?!
After exploring the university, we headed to The Witte Museum. Just a few minutes from the campus, the detailed buildings and gardens lend themselves to the elegant vibe of the second half of our session. Becca’s navy dress complimented Peter’s dapper gray suit perfectly. Don’t they just look amazing together? And if there’s ever a question to bring champagne or not…please, bring the champagne! Toasting to your engagement is one of the most fun things we can do at your session!
Another highlights of Becca and Peter’s engagement session was the unique ring box that Peter had made for his proposal. The box is engraved with their names and is flat, but upon opening, the ring “pops” out at you! It’s different than any ring box I’ve seen and I love that Peter surprised her with it!
Becca and Peter, thank you for letting me capture your love story! You are the sweetest couple, cheers to you both!
