A Day in DC
A cold February day in Washington DC lends itself to photos with minimal crowds and clear blue skies. As a Washington DC wedding photographer, surveying the city I love photographing in is always a welcome way to spend the day. Our itinerary today started with a walk around the capitol followed by the National Mall and seeing the carousel I grew up taking a spin on.
For lunch, a stop at the historic Riggs Hotel was in order, complete with bubbles and great conversations.
I was joined for the day by Megan, of Vida Events, Elle, of Bisous and the Bay, and Ellie, my assistant. We even held a petite photo session on the grounds of the capitol.
Strolling the city with friends is always more fun and it was so nostalgic sharing stories about each of our favorite places and the memories we have from them. Not to mention, winter fashion is always a treat with our vintage frocks on full display!
