Nestled in the Northern Virginia countryside of Loudoun County, Heigh Torr Wedding Venue and Estate is a newer venue to the scene but comes with a rich history. Once owned by the famous Swayze Family (yes, Patrick) it’s been a retreat for years for those looking to escape the city. Only recently has it become a place to host weddings and events. During a recent tour, I was able to see the grounds, and the home and learn about what they offer for clients.
The grounds are lovely. And just think, if these photos from a rainy fall day do it justice… can you imagine this property in spring and summer? It’s truly a photographers dream. In addition, the indoor boasts luxurious accommodations for guests and still maintains the comforts that one would find at home.
When considering a wedding venue, Heigh Torr wedding venue would be perfect for a mid-size wedding that wanted to share the weekend with their closest friends and family. I was lucky enough to be given a tour by the amazing Jessica Ashley Events and really learn how the space could be utilized. From cocktail hour poolside, to rehearsal dinners with views of Hunt Country. It’s not to be missed.
