Southern Style Easter with The Wrights’
This year, our Easter was extra special. Just a few days before the holiday, Danny arrived home from a 6 month deployment. After missing so many holidays, we were determined to make the best of our quarantine style Easter. And honestly? It’s now one of my favorite ones. The only down side was missing Easter service! We enjoyed a leisurely morning, set the table to the nines, I cooked a big meal (which I never do-think sandwiches and paper plates most days!!) and enjoyed cocktails and cascarones. It was a southern style easter with Lilly Pulitzer dresses, blue and white seersucker and comfort food.
We are so thankful to have my Grammy’s beautiful Royal Copenhagen china and Waterford crystal glasses. They make for the prettiest tables and it’s so special to have my Lilly (named after my Grammy) set the table with these heirlooms. We took a virtual flower workshop with BlumeHaus Fine Flowers and created the cutest centerpieces with bright and springy blooms. The white bunny vases were the sweetest touch!
A gin and tonic with a sprig of rosemary right from our garden was the drink this mama needed after 6 months without my husband!
